Favorite Music/Artists

 My genera of music is rap/hip hop this genera is really good in my opinion it is the best type of music. My favorite rapper is Eminem the reason why I like him is because the way he makes music is  it's really good and the way he raps and the way he uses the words to rhyme with other words. Another rapper that I like is Kendrick Lamar I really like his music he is a good story teller he also raps in a unique way. Kendrick's music is different then anyone else's no one can rap like Kendrick he is a unique rapper. Sometimes Kendrick raps about controversial things/topics that are happening in our world or in the United States to make people think about those problems and to see the worlds conflicts. Another rapper/producer/artist is Kanye West the reason why I say producer is because he makes betas for other musicians and rappers he is a really good producer. Kanye can rap really good and make great music he's a genius at making music. These three rappers I named are really good and I admire them a lot the way they make music is very unique and the music sounds really unique and not like music that everybody else makes.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days

The book that I finished reading was Diary of a Wimpy Kid Dog Days it is about the main character who is in many other diary of a wimpy kid books Greg. In this book he talks about his summer vacation and his experience throughout his summer and what he feel sand his emotions. In the beginning of the book Greg tries to spend time with his dad but is struggling because they don't really like the whole "father son bond" thing so they try but it does not work. Another thing Greg talks about is how he is an indoor person and likes to stay inside even though it's bright and sunny and fresh outside he stays and plays video games. When he and his best friend named Rowely go to a country club they order a lot of food and drinks and they don't pay for it they put the money due tirades Rowelys dad. When his Dad finds out about this he is not happy at all and tells them both that they have to pay him and come up with the money so Greg and Rowely come up with a solution to open up a lawn mower business but it fails very fast.

My personal reflection on this book is how it showed every situation that Greg was in and the pictures really captured the feeling and how the setting was. Another thing that I liked about this book is the dialogue in the dialogue really showed if the character was mad or happy or sad and I think the author added in certain words to show the feeling. In this book a lot of things happen and it would be to long to explain and talk about so you have to read the book to see what happens with Greg and his family. 1 last final thing I like about the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books is you don't have to read them in order I just picked this one and started to read it. A reason why I say that is every knew Diary of a Wimpy Kid book is a different topic or place/situation that Greg and his family are in. Overall I really liked this book and would recommend to people who like a comic style of drawing and also if you like the series Diary of a Wimpy Kid.

The Beatles The Music Was Never The Same

 The book that I read was called the Beatles it was about the iconic band the Beatles. This book is a biography and it talks about each of the four members. When the Beatles started off they weren't known in Britain they were just another band but before that the four members were separated and didn't know each other but a small maned named The Quarry Men. John and Paul met each other there. When all the four members of the Beatles came together they clicked with each other and made really good music. When the Beatles became big in Britain for there unique sound America also liked them and when the Beatles decided to tour in America the U.S was thrilled. When the Beatles came to America hundreds of thousands of fans came at them and were screaming the Beatles had body guards and security all around them. When all four of the Beatles were first interviewed in America people loved there personalities. People also loved the interaction they had with them since the Beatles were very easy to be liked. There albums were on the charts for a very long time and the Beatles became millionaires very quickly.

 My personal reflection on this book is I enjoyed this book because it had a lot of facts and things I didn't know about the Beatles. I choose to read this book because I wanted to know more about the Beatles. A thing I liked from this book is it had some pages were there were pictures and with the pictures were captions under them explains what was going on in the pictures. Another thing I like about this book is it had chapters talking about each of the four members and what they did after the band broke up. I also enjoyed the detail in how each tour the Beatles did meant to them and the emotion they felt. I know that the Beatles changed music and introduced a new type of sound into music and that's why the cover of the book says "The Beatles the music was never the same" which shows that they changed music forever and they became iconic. Overall I really enjoyed this book and it's detail and great knowledge on the Beatles. I recommend this book to people who like music and especially the Beatles.

The 2017 NFL Draft

The 2017 NFL draft is today and I am kinda excited for it because my favorite sport is football and I am also excited to see who the Chicago Bears get. The past two years the draft was in Down town Chicago but currently today it will be held in Philadelphia. The Bears select 3rd overall the 1st team to select is the Cleveland Browns. The draft works like this the team that had the worst standings last season pick first overall then the second team who had the worst standings also the past season picks 2nd overall then so on and so on.

The team that won the SuperBowl picks last in the first round since they don't need that much help as the first team who picks first. In my opinion I think the Bears who pick 3rd overall will either get these two players you can only pick one player when you select I think the Bears will get either an offensive player QB Deshaun Watson from Clemson or a linebacker/a defensive back  Jabrill Peppers from Michigan State. A reason why I say the Bears will get Deshaun Watson is because the Bears need a quarterback the quarterbacks that they have now are not that good they need somebody young and who can learn not a quarterback who is already been in the league so the Bears need someone skilled so Deshaun Watson would be a great pick. A reason why I say the Bears might get Jabrill peppers is the Bears on defense are not that good they need help and Jabrill Peppers will do just that he is a skilled player and would improve the Bears defense. If the Bears get either one of these players they have the possibility of becoming a new innovative football team .These are my predictions on who the Bears will get in the 2017 NFL Draft.

Million Dollar Throw

 The book that I read was called the "Million Dollar Throw" it is about a kid named Nate Brodie who is starting quarterback for his 8th grade football team. When he plays football he wants to be relevant and make a difference in his team.  He has a friend who's name is Abby she is starting to go blind and there both scared and worried. One day Nate and his mom go to the mall and Nate sees a stand that's by a company called SportStuff the sign says that if you can make a Throw from the 30 yard line into a target then you win a million dollars. During this time Nate signs up and is given a number so when they announce the number on TV you can see if you won or not and the chances of winning were really small. But Nate heard his number and was selected to attempt to throw the football into the target a couple of days before Thanksgiving. But before this Nate goes through hard times with his friend Abby and his parents have problems with paying bills and keeping there house. I will not say if Nate made the throw.

 My personal reflection to this book is I enjoyed this book and the great detail in it. I liked the detail because it shows how each character was feeling during hard times and what type of life they were going through. Another thing that I like about this book is how the story is set up and in what way it goes and the things that are contained in it. Another thing that I like about this book is how it's connected to football because football is my favorite sport so I also like that. Another reason why I picked this book is because this story seems like it could happen in real life so I like the realism. One thing that I kinda didn't like about the book is how it didn't really have a lot parts were it talked about how Nate did in school or if he was having trouble in school. Overall I like this book and it's detail and I recommend this book to people who like football,realistic fiction.

Things I Enjoy about Spring

 Things that I enjoy about spring is seeing that the weather is nice and that the sun comes out earlier so it's a nice to start of the day like that. Another thing that I enjoy about spring is how the weather feels and it's just a nice atmosphere. I also like spending time with my family I enjoy the interaction when the weather is nice because it's good when I spend time with my family I feel happy around them. Another thing I like about Spring is that it is a sign that the school year is very close to being done so I like that feeling but I also get a little scared because I am going off to high school and I won't be in Heritage anymore. Knowing that the school year is almost done I enjoy the time and live day by day. I also like spring because it's another sign that summer is on it's way and I really enjoy summer because I can finally relax and not think about school. The things I don't like about spring is sometimes my eye itches and it bothers me but that haven't happened to me recently. Another thing that I don't like about spring is sometimes it rains and I know spring involves a lot of rain but when it rains and it looks gloomy outside it's not nice to see and it lowers people's moods. Overall I really enjoy spring and I and the things it has to offer like the scenery and spending time with your family spring is great.

The Chicago Bears

In this blog I am going to analyze the Chicago Bears. I will be talking about what I think about there past seasons and my predictions for the upcoming season. So I will start off with the team in general the Bears aren't the worst team in the NFL. The bears have some good qualities like they are successful running the football because of Jordan Howard who was second in rushing last year. The Bears also have an okay defense when everyone is healthy not when there's a bunch of back ups then the defense isn't good only when the starters are on defense. Now I am going to talk about the past season last season for the Bears was bad they started off the season okay then after the Halloween game against the Minnesota Vikings which they played really good in then the bye week came and after that the Bears weren't too good. Injuries messed up the Bears a lot and also player suspensions. In conclusion I hope that the Bears have a good upcoming season I hope they go 10-6 and make the wildcard.

The Freedom Writers

 The movie was freedom writers was a good movie it really showed good perspective about the way the kids saw the world. I also liked the movie because it compared and contrasted most of the kids lives in the class to see whats different about them. I liked it because it really showed good perspective a detail about how the kids are in there gangs and what they have to do to get respect. I also liked how the movie focused some scenes on how the kids lives were and what they had to do in order for them to maintain a stable life. Another detail that I like about the movie was how the setting was setup the movie was being taken place which would be referred to as the ghetto. Another thing that I liked about this movie was that how each student made progress since the begging of the movie. In the beginning of the movie the students hated each other then towards the end of the movie they were like a family and they had a strong bond. So overall I really enjoyed this movie and I would recommend to other people. In conclusion I really liked this movie and how it was made this was really enjoyable.

Slice of Life

 This blog will be about the first time I ever went to six flags. This story starts when when I was 6 or 7 around that time I knew what 6 flags was but I never went there so one day my parents woke me and my older brother up early so we could beat traffic and go to six flags. The drive took about an hour it was exciting to see all the sings because I liked roller coasters and I still do to this day. When I was young I was never scared of heights and I'm still not scared to this day. So when we pulled into the parking lot there decent amount of cars in the parking lot as the day went on more and more people started to come. When me and my family went in and pained and when we entered the park I saw everything I saw the rides the food stands and the gift shops. When I was young I was tall so I had no problem getting onto rides some of them I couldn't get on because I did not meet the age limit.  One of the rides that I remember is at first the ride wasn't functioning correctly when we got on it so we were there for like 5 minutes it wasn't too bad but the ride was good. So when we were about to leave I looked back and was just happy that I went and had that experience.

My Spring Break

 My spring break was great I didn't go out of state or go anywhere really exciting. But I really enjoyed my spring break because I was relaxing and not worrying about school or homework I have to do. Something that was fun was me and my family celebrated my grandmas birthday we went to her house and brought her a cake and the cake was really good. Another thing that's was fun was me and family went out to eat to a place called the Golden Corral we had a good time. After that we went  to a couple of stores just to walk around that was a good day. Something that was cool was I saw a coyote walk near my grandmas house. Overall I really enjoyed my spring break it was phenomenal  I found this time to be relaxing and not  worrying about anything school related. During that week I really that time and I didn't stress myself on thinking about quarter 4 and how I'm almost going to be in high school. So during that time I just took it day by day towards the end I was kinda excited to come back to school and see everyone again so I really enjoyed this spring break. 

A Slice of Life

 An interesting story that sort of changed my life was when I got a cut on my left arm. This a moment of my life that I will never forgot because it impacted it. This story took place when I was around 6 or  7. Me and my older brother and my parents went to a store in a mall. When we got to the mall we were going to other stores and then we went to Carson's. When we got there we were looking at shirts then I pulled one out and showed everybody then I put it back. Then I saw another shirt that I liked and I picked it up and showed my family when I went to go put it back there was a pointy metal things that was sticking out of the rack of shirts. I didn't see it it was weird I did not see it at all I completely missed it and when I tried to put the shirt in I felt something but a hole into my left arm. At first I was confused and was wondering how that got  there then I started to feel pain then I passed out at this point I was at a vulnerable position. I woke up still in the store but on a stretcher from the ambulance and saw my family around me the ambulance took me to the hospital and then I passed out again and woke up in a hospital bed with my mom next to me. The doctor came in and gave me some shots they hurt but then a couple of hours went by and they wrapped my arm. A couple days went by then I went back to the hospital to remove my bandages then I had a scar which I still have to this day and its going to be there forever but I don't see this as a bad thing this moment is apart of me.

Diary of a Wimpy Kid the third wheel

 This book is about a kid named Greg who goes to middle school. There are many books like this but this one focuses on a dance that is happening in Greg's school. Through out the book Greg is trying to find a date to go with him to the dance. But he is having trouble because not a lot of girls like him or know who he is. So Greg asks for advice around from his family and friend but does not get the results he wants to. His uncle moves in with his family and Greg asks him for advice and his uncle gives him really good advice. Greg has a friend named Rowley who is part of the schools Vice President he is not that loquacious helps Greg with finding a date because he knows that Greg doesn't want to be alone in the dance. In this book Greg also talks about his child and how he was headed down everything from his older brother Rodrick and wishes he got new stuff during his childhood.

My personal reflection of this book is I liked it I enjoyed the drawings that went with the text. The author Jeff Kinney did a good job on this book because I haven't read one of these ina while so it was good to see these books are still good. Another thing that I like about this book is how it expressed the feeling and detail through the drawings and what the main character Greg was feeling. I enjoyed everything about this book I didn't see anything wrong with it in my opinion. Another thing that I like about this book and the whole Diary of a Wimpy Kid series is you don't have necessarily read the first book to get the books following after. So in conclusion I really enjoyed this book and what the author did I with it. I recommend this book to people who like the series of Diary of a Wimpy Kid and people who like a comic book style of reading.

Life is Beautiful

 In my opinion the phrase life is beautiful is shown through the movie by in the beginning the man is very happy and is enjoy his life. Another way the phrase life is beautiful is shown is in the middle of the movie the man falls in love with the girl and they have a son. One piece of film evidence is when the man goes to the party where the girl is at and he knows he has fallen in love with the girl. When they leave and go back to the guys house there is a transition were it shows that they had a kid. This piece of evidence shows how having a kid can make someone's life even better and show how beautiful it is. Another way the phrase life is beautiful is shown is towards the end of the movie the guy thinks about how good his life was and that he took it for granted so he realized how much of a good life he had. The piece of film evidence shows how if someone has a good life they don't pay attention to it and when they lose that type of life style it affects them and they wish they had it back. So when the man is imported to the concentration camp he remembers the good life he had and he thought about how good it was to be free and he really saw how his life was beautiful.

 The connections that are similar between the movie and our reading is in the movie it shows how life was for people before the holocaust. In the readings it talks about how people used to live before the holocaust. Another similarity is the individuals that were in the movie were Jewish people. The main character of this movie was Jewish he lived in the camps. The other individuals that were involved in the movie were the Germans. Ideas that were similar were the Germans wanted to kill all the Jewish people or people that did meet there standards. All these things are both in the reading and in the movie.

 The differences between the movie and the readings are in the readings it went into more detail about what was going on outside the concentration camps. In the movie it didn't really give detail about the war it focused almost the whole movie on what was happening inside the concentration camps. Another difference is the movie didn't show how much power Hitler had over people and the media. In the readings it shows and talks about how much power Hitler had over people and the things he could do. These are the things that are different between the movie and the readings.

 The mood of this movie is in the beginning the movie is very happy and it shows a happy place. The mood in the middle of the movie is also happy because he falls in love with the girl and the girl falls in love with him as well. Towards the end of the movie the mood is very sad and serious and everything is mostly sad. When the man goes to the camp and gets evaluated the tone there is serious. The overall tone of this movie is sort of sad but it has some positivity in it. The positivity is shown when there's humor and laughter during the beginning of the film and even when the film gets serious there is still some laughter. So in my opinion the movies mood is mostly happy but towards the end the movie gets serious and sad but still has some humor in it.

The Dallas Cowboys

 The book I read was called The Dallas Cowboys this book was about the team/franchise of the Dallas Cowboys. In the beginning of the book it talked about players from 60s and 70s and how they impacted the team then later on in the book it talks about the team in the 80s When the Dallas Cowboys came into the league hey weren't that good. They struggled in a lot of parts they didn't have good healthy players. But when Tom Landry was hired he changed that. He implemented his new offensive playbook and defensive playbook to the team. When he was starting off as coach he drafted young players on defense because for him he thought that was the most important part of the team. From there the Cowboys got better and better and they won Super Bowl VI against the dolphins. After that the Cowboys were known more and people started to like them they became America's Team. But Tom Landry was not perfect he lost the 1975 and 1978 Super Bowls. The Cowboys are also known for some legendary players like running back Emmitt Smith he was drafted in April 1990 he made a big impact on the team he was very successful he is known for one of the greatest running backs of all time. Another legendary player was Troy Aikmen who was very popular back then and still is now he was also good he took the Cowboys to Super Bowls and won two.

 My personal reflection on this book is I liked it I liked how the author took the reader through a timeline the success and failures of the Cowboys. The author who wrote this book also wrote The San Francisco 49ers I also enjoyed that book they share the same style of writing and way of writing. I also like how the author wrote about some players backgrounds and what they went through growing up. This book was very detailed when it talked about what kind of times these players were planning in it talked about how African Americans were discriminated when playing and how they where looked less on. My favorite section or part of this book is when it was talking about a player named Emmitt Smith because he's my favorite Cowboy player of all time. The only thing that I didn't like about this book was I wished he made each players section longer and with more things that happened in there life. That's probably the only problem I have with this book but overall I liked this book and I enjoyed it. I recommend this book to people who like sports and football and especially the Dallas Cowboys.

Propaganda

  The piece of propaganda that I have is trying to portray how powerful Nazi soldiers are. I say this because in the image it shows a man who looks confident and powerful who is probably going to war.  The intended audience is most likely the Jewish people I say this because the poster shows somebody with no fear and when the Jews at the time say this they probably where scared of the Nazis because they looked powerful. Another possible intended audience could be German people this poster could've been a recruiting poster to show German men that they could fight in war and look like this. It can alter someone's perspective by showing the Jewish people how powerful the Nazis were at the time and it can also show German men that they could be like this too but only if the enroll into war. This poster was effective because a lot of German people enrolled to fight in WW2 the Nazis had so much soldiers on there side to use in battle. My personal thoughts on this sign/picture is the way the Nazis made it was interesting because the made the poster/image to stand out and show people how powerful they are. I also think that this probably helped the Nazis gain power and strike fear into Jewish people.

QB1

 The tittle of my book is called QB1 the book is about a kid named Jake Cullen. He plays quarterback on his football team he comes from a family of quarterbacks his older brother is a very successful quarterback. When the beginning of the season started Jake was a back up he was competing with another kid who wanted to play quarterback his name was Casey Lindell. Through the book they have some problems because one of them is back up and the other is starting. When Casey is not preforming well the coach decided stop bring in Jake to start in on game and they end up winning that game because of Jake. In this book Jake faces one adversity that affects him but he overcomes it and is successful. Jakes goal and everybody on that team is to win the championship but the team faces some problems with deck on making on plays and with certain players getting injured.

 My personal thoughts on this book is when I saw other people read it I didn't find it interesting. But when I saw at the library I decided to check it out to see how it is. I like this book this book is probably my one of my favorites that I have read this year. It's not a cliche book it's not a book you can predict the ending or what's going to happen next. I really liked the detail of how Jake felt when he was coming out of the tunnel and getting ready to play in the game. I also like how the author gave the readers a little back story of each important player like who they are and where they came from. Overall I really enjoyed this book and I also like the author Mike Lupica and I like how he can make very good stories using sports. I recommend this book to people who like sports especially football and people who like the author Mike Lupica.

My Story of Regret

 A time that I felt regret was about 5 years ago. This happened at my old school in Little Village in Chicago. The people that where involved was me and my two friends. What happened was we where in class and getting ready to go outside for gym. As we where leaving the class my friend did something bad but the teacher didn't know. My other friend wanted me to tell on him at first I refused then as we where going downstairs he convinced me. The part about this story that I most regret is the teacher let us go outside and I was already outside then I went back in. As I went back in I told my teacher what my friend did. I also told her to not let him know that I told her about this. As I went back outside I felt bad and I thought to myself why did I do that?. As gym class ended my teacher pulled him aside and was talking to him. When we got back to class he was kinda mad when I tried talking to him he was mad at me. But the thing I still do not  know to this day is if the teacher told him that I was the one who told on him. I regret that I told on him because he was a really good friend after that we didn't talk again I wished I listened to myself and not my other friend. It sucks that I didn't obtain this friendship and that we left off on bad terms because it was my last year at that school. After this happened I learned to listen to myself and not other peoples opinions on certain things. So this is my story of regret.        

Famous Person

 The famous person that I would met it would be Eminem. I would met him because he is my favorite rapper and I listen to a lot of his music. The thing we would do together is play video games and talk about his life and what music his going to come with next. After that we'll probably get something to eat and talk about sports and many different things and rap in general. I'd ask him how did he persevere through his life and become one of the greatest rappers of all time?. The questions I would ask him is what do you think of rap and its stage right now? Another question is what's his favorite video game? Another question is what new music are going to release or make? He is worth meeting because he is one of the greatest or the greatest rapper of all time. He also looks like a fun person to be around even though he looks serious. Another reason why I would like to meet him is in his music sometimes he could be motivating and I would ask him where do you get your motivation from for your music?

Steve Jobs

 The book I read was called Steve Jobs it talked about his childhood and his adulthood until his death.  Steve Jobs is adopted later in his life he would meet his original birth parents. When Steve Jobs was a kid he wasn't that much of a trouble maker when he was in school he did not have trouble he was good at all his subjects. Steve Jobs was a very meticulous person he wanted everything to be perfect and exact when making his products. When Steve Jobs was in school he met another kid named Steve Wozniak the both of them shared in interest in computers. When Steve Jobs was out of school and was working on his first official computer for Apple the first computer was built in his house garage. When Apple was very young and first founded many people thought it would not succeed. Later on in the years when Apple became. A huge success Steve Jobs was know all around the country. When Apple Entered the 21st century they made iconic devices like the iPod, iPhone, iPad. Steve Jobs passed away on October 5, 2011 he died of cancer many people were surprised of his death because he had been battling it. He will forever be remembered as the iconic face of Apple.

My personal thoughts on this book is I liked how it showed Steve Jobs life and what great achievements he had. I also like how this book compared Microsoft to Apple and it showed its prices and who was doing better at the time. I also like how it shows of how Steve Jobs impacted the world of technology and business. Steve Jobs knew he had all this money but he did it let that get to him he didn't care about the money he cared so much about Apple. In the book it talks how when he was on a vacation with his family he would always think about products and ideas for Apple. Steve Jobs looked like a person who was always stressed and unhappy but he was a happy guy who showed passion in his work.

Perseverance

 My 3 traits for perseverance is to believe in yourself this means to have belief in yourself. If you don't then you won't amount to anything you will always be scared and afraid to do certain things. Another trait for perseverance is to be confident in yourself believe that you can do something instead of doubting yourself and limiting yourself. If you don't have confidence then you won't step out of your comfort zone. My last trait for perseverance is to not be afraid of failure and not succeeding. This means that when something does not go your way don't be mad or sad it's not the end of the world. If you fail don't be sad learn from it and better yourself to avoid the same mistake or many others.

My personal connection with Nick is he was not confident in himself at first be as he went through life he adapted to his situation and made himself stronger and do not limit himself because of his physical form. I think that what he is currently doing is good he motivates other people to do things that are outside of there comfort zone. He shows people they can do anything when they put there mind to it like him he does many things that require arms and legs. So I think what Nick is doing to motivate people is great.

Message Behind The Commercial

  The most impact Superbowl commercial I saw this year was the 84 Lumber commercial. I say this because it shows how difficult the journey to come to America can be for certain families. The message of this commercial is The path to success and a better life is welcome in America. The most controversial scene is probably when it demonstrated a wall between Mexico and the United Sates. I think this commercial is important because it shows how a family can struggle just to come into the U.S. It also is important because it is a real thing that is happening. This commercial is trying to reach out to Americans and possibly the president of the United States to show what kind of impact he is going to have. The intended response is it probably wanted to get people to see the other side of immigration instead of just seeing it from an American view point. My own response to this is I think this was a good commercial idea I think it really got to people to talk about it. Overall I thought this commercial was sending a good message to the people watching it. Here is the link to watch the commercial.

The San Francisco 49ers

 This book is about the San Francisco 49ers team and the franchise they have. This book talks about different players from the past that have affected the 49ers history in a positive way. Bald then the 49ers were a really good football team they won a lot of games and Super Bowls . But before that the were a very unsuccessful franchise until one coach cam along his name was Bill Walsh. When the 49ers General Manger hired Bill Walsh the both of them integrated both of there ideas together and made the 49ers a really good team that soon won a lot of Super Bowls. When Bill Walsh came to the 49ers in his first year he was very meticulous he wants everything to be perfect he made the quarterback make the throws again and again until they meet his standards. He did not immediately take the team to the Super Bowl it took him a little bit of time to rebuilt the team from there he became successful.

 My personal reflection of this book is I really liked it because it talked about different players from the 49ers past. I liked how it talks the time place the players played in for example one African American player played in times where people where not being treated equally because of the color of there skin. This book contains a lot of information of how many yards or touchdowns a certain player got so it keeps me informed and expands my knowledge. I did not find anything wrong with this book. This book was not to hard for me because there was one or two words I didn't understand but overall I understood what was being told to me. I recommend this book to people who like sports and sport biographies on certain teams history.

Advice for the President

  My advice for our new president is when he has an idea that he thinks is good he should convey the idea to the people to get there opinions. He also should involve other people and especially let the public know what he is planning to do with America. If people don't like what he is going to do he should ask the media and improve the movement or bill he is going to implement So my biggest advice to him is to listen to the people because being president is a big responsibility and for being president you listen to people and the problems America is facing and you have to try your best to fix them. But when listening to people he has to listen to more then one group and hear what a lot of people have to say about issues or topics not just one group of people and get there opinions to fix America that certain way.

Worst Argument

 The worst argument that I ever had was with my mom it's was a misunderstanding the argument it was about miss directions. We where going somewhere and she asked me for directions and I said the right one but she heard it wrong so we where going in the wrong direction the whole time. She realized it and asked me if I had the right directions and I had to explain it to her that they where the right ones but she assumed that I got the wrong ones but I'd didn't. Then I told her I got the right one then she told me to check again but I already had the right ones. I think that she was a little frustrated that she drove this far and was going the wrong way. So I think I could've put more effort into trying to look for the right directions. Later me and her together found the right one and made it to our destination we where good after that. I learned two thing from this the first was to listen more closely and to work together when facing a situation or problem.

Malcom X (my non fiction book)

  The book that I finished reading was called Malcolm X this book is a biography about Malcolm X.  The life that Malcolm X had was very hard and had a lot of problems in it but he persevered through it and became the man that he was. When Malcolm X was growing up he was exposed to many bad things like drugs and violence. At first Malcolm did not have a job he was hanging around the streets with his friends he would have some jobs here and there but he would not keep them for long. When Malcolm was older and more mature he began to speak his mind about how African Americans where being treated in America. A lot of people started to here what he was saying and started to agree with him so he became a civil rights leader.

 From my point of and my refection I liked this book. I liked this book because I didn't really know that much about Malcolm X and now I think I am a little bit more informed about him.  I also liked this book because Malcolm X stood up for what he believed in and was not scared to speak his mind.I also liked how the author gave good detail about how Malcolm felt in certain situations. I also liked the things that Malcolm X used to say and he viewed society and the way he say of how African Americas where being treated. I recommend this book to people who who like reading about civil right leaders and who like Malcolm X.

Fake it till you Become it

  A part of my life that I feel most confident is school but especially one subject which is reading class. The reason why I think this is because I find this class to sometimes challenge me which good because it tests my strength and weaknesses. That class can also be easy and relax me. I also find that I don't wait till last minute to finish my work or homework. I can see that I am overall successful in the class. Somewhere in my life that I think I neeed a confidence boost is my cooking skills because when I try to cook I find it extremely difficult because every time I do it I feel like I am not doing it the right way. So a solution that I wats thinking of was to see how other people do it or my own family and see what type of  methods they use to cook good.

One thing that I did that was kind/thoughtful this break

  The one thing that was really kind and thoughtful that I did was when my mom was in a doctors appointment and it was just me in my house. I decided to clean the whole house. I figured that she was going to be tired from work and the appointment. So I just randomly decided to do it to surprise her and make her feel better. While I was cleaning the house and fixing up things my brother came home and started to help me out. So me and him cleaned the whole house and after we where done I was kinda tired but felt more accomplished that I did it. I did not even think of getting a reward for it or a price I did it out of kindness and to make my mom fell better and happy. When she came home she was very happy that me and brother cleaned the house for her she was happy, that made her day even more better. So that was one thing that I did over break that was kind.
